About the role
You will be responsible for the efficient, accurate, and timely processing, verification, and reconciliation of transactions in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time role at our Varsity Lakes head office.

What you'll be doing

Data Entry and Maintenance:

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data in business systems.
  • Ensure all data is recorded in accordance with organisational standards and procedures.
  • Regularly review and update existing records to maintain data currency and integrity.

Data Verification:

  • Check data entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source documentation / information.
  • Validate incoming data against supporting documentation / information
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or anomalies promptly.

Data Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile data between systems, reports, or databases to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Perform data checks to confirm completeness and correctness.
  • Report reconciliation outcomes and escalate issues where required.

System and Process Support:

  • Assist in testing and reviewing data system enhancements or process changes.
  • Support other team members in maintaining consistent data management practices.

About You

High Level of Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

  • Demonstrated ability to complete data entry tasks with exceptional accuracy and consistency.
  • Proven track record of identifying and correcting data discrepancies in high-volume processing environments.

Data Verification and Reconciliation Expertise:

  • Experience verifying and reconciling large data sets to ensure integrity and completeness.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate inconsistencies and maintain data quality across systems / databases.

High-Volume Data Processing Skills:

  • Ability to manage and process large volumes of data efficiently while maintaining accuracy under tight timeframes.
  • Proven organisational and time-management skills to meet daily and weekly processing targets.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Competence in using data management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Experience in Sandwai home care software advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to extract, manipulate, and validate data using spreadsheets.

Process Orientation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Commitment to following standard operating procedures.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Communication and Team Collaboration:

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders regarding data issues or discrepancies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting shared goals and deadlines.

Confidentiality and Data Integrity:

  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Commitment to upholding organisational standards for data handling and integrity.

Requirements

  • National police check
  • Current drivers' license
